REMOVAL
1. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the radiator assembly
.
2. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER BAR
|
(a) Remove the 4 bolts, 2 stabilizer brackets and 2 stabilizer bushes, separate the stabilizer bar. |
3. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
|
(a) Using SST, loosen the crankshaft pulley set bolt. SST: 09213-70011 09213-70020 SST: 09330-00021 |
(b) Partially install the pulley set bolt to the crankshaft until 2 or 3 threads are engaged.

(c) Using the pulley set bolt and SST, remove the crankshaft pulley. SST: 09950-50013 09951-05010 09952-05010 09953-05010 09954-05021 |
4. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT TIMING GEAR KEY
|
(a) Remove the crankshaft timing gear key from the crankshaft. |
5. REMOVE TIMING GEAR CASE OR TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL
|
(a) Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal. NOTICE:
Do not damage the surface of the oil seal press fit hole and crankshaft. HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use. |
